1. Initial Protection
After your session, your tattoo will be covered with SecondSkin™, a breathable, waterproof barrier designed to protect your fresh tattoo during healing.
Leave the SecondSkin™ on for 3 to 5 days — do not replace it. Only remove it earlier if it peels off on its own or if there’s excessive fluid buildup.
2. Removing SecondSkin™
Remove during a warm shower to help loosen the adhesive.
Gently peel it off while keeping it close to the skin — do not pull upward.
Wash the tattoo with unscented, antibacterial soap and warm water.
Pat dry with a clean paper towel and let it breathe for a few minutes.
3. Aftercare (Once Skin is Exposed)
Moisturize the tattoo 2–3 times a day with a gentle, fragrance-free lotion. Recommended options include:
✅ Bepantol Derma (light formula)
✅ Cicaplast Baume B5 – La Roche-Posay
✅ Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion
✅ Eucerin pH5 or Aquaphor (thin layer only)❌ Avoid: Vaseline, petroleum jelly, perfumed creams, excessive sun, steam or water exposure.
4. What to Expect
Mild redness or sensitivity is normal in the first few days.
Do not scratch, peel, or pick at the tattoo.
Avoid swimming, sun exposure, and tight clothing over the area for at least 2 weeks.
